United States Rejection of the League of Nations
The League of Nations was founded on January 10, 1920. Its political structure was an intergovernmental organization. It started off during the Treaty of Versailles. The U.S didn't join the League of Nations. The League of Nations was supposed to maintain world peace. This idea was weakened since the U.S didn't join.
The League of Nations wanted the American people to join. If the American people would've joined the League of Nations, the idea of world peace between the states might have worked.
The League of Nations was planned by President Woodrow Wilson. A part of his plan is called the Fourteen Points plan. This was to provide peace in Europe. There were many meetings over the League of Nations.
The League of Nations ended near the Paris Peace Conference. They had many negotiations there. The United Kingdom, France, and Italy fought together to try saving it. This lead to them being weaker and it ending the League of Nations.
